This scheme, championed by East Riding Councillor Paul West, is designed to ensure that life-saving equipment is readily available in the community, particularly in areas where access to emergency services may be limited.

“It's a great scheme and hopefully it will save lives,” West stated. “Every second counts in a cardiac emergency, and having these devices on our bin lorries means that they can reach people faster, potentially making all the difference.”
