What Happens Next

Parents who did not receive their preferred school have the right to appeal. The council's admissions team is available to provide guidance and support throughout the process.

Portfolio holder for children and young people, Councillor Julie Abraham, said: "We're pleased that the vast majority of families have received their first-choice school. Our schools across the East Riding offer an excellent standard of education, and we're confident that every child will thrive wherever they are placed."

Parents are advised to accept their offered place even if they intend to appeal, as this does not affect the outcome of any appeal.
