Most of the shops in Howden will be open for the evening and there will be craft market stalls inside the Shire Hall and in the Market Place. Father Christmas will be visiting his Grotto in the Shire Hall especially for the evening, in addition to fairground rides, hot roasted chestnuts and mulled wine to keep you warm. There will be also be children's entertainment and choirs singing Christmas carols in the Market Place throughout the evening.
